Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Relay Capital, LLC (doing business as "RunUp," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use RunUp services. Relay Capital, LLC is the controller of the personal information described here, except where it acts as a processor for customer data as described below. You can reach us at hello@gorunup.com.

Information We Collect

  • Account information such as name, email, and authentication data.
  • Subscription and customer records synchronized from a Stripe account connected by an account owner.
  • Account membership, invitations, report activity and security records.
  • When a member uses the optional MCP connector, the requested report results are returned to that member's AI client. Customer-level MCP results use pseudonyms rather than customer names, email addresses or Stripe customer IDs.
  • Usage and device data needed for security, reliability, and product improvement.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and secure the RunUp platform.
  • Synchronize authorized Stripe subscription data and calculate analytics for account members.
  • Provide read-only metric results through the MCP connector when an account member requests them from a connected AI client.
  • Respond to support requests and enforce platform integrity.
  • Review accounts and their data as RunUp administrators, as described below.

Legal Bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we process personal information to perform our contract with you (providing RunUp), for our legitimate interests (securing and improving the service, preventing abuse, and supporting you), to comply with legal obligations, and, where we ask, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Customer Data: Our Role as Processor

When an account owner connects Stripe, the subscription and customer records we synchronize relate to that business's own customers. For that data we act as the business's processor (or service provider) and handle it on the business's instructions to provide RunUp. The business decides what to connect and is responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. A data processing agreement is available on request at hello@gorunup.com.

Staff Access to Your Account

Authorized staff and contractors of Relay Capital, LLC and its affiliates (together, RunUp administrators) can view any workspace and the information in it, including account and membership details, connected Stripe accounts, synchronized subscription and customer records, reports and activity. An administrator can also sign in as a member to see RunUp as that member sees it. We use this access to provide support you request, troubleshoot problems, investigate security incidents or misuse, enforce our terms, meet legal obligations and operate and improve the service. Access is limited to people who need it for those purposes, and administrator actions, including while signed in as a member, are logged. Administrator accounts require two-factor authentication. While signed in as a member, an administrator cannot disconnect Stripe, change the reporting currency, change member roles or delete the workspace, and changing a member's password or email address requires that member's current password.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with providers needed to operate RunUp, with Stripe as authorized by the account owner, and with the AI provider selected by a member when that member invokes the MCP connector. The AI provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Service Providers

We share data with service providers that help us run RunUp, such as hosting, email delivery, error tracking and analytics, only as needed for them to provide those services to us and under obligations to protect it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train AI models or allow our service providers to. Business Transfers

If Relay Capital, LLC or RunUp is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction and remains subject to this policy's protections.

International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process your information there. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism for data from the EU, UK or Switzerland, we rely on standard contractual clauses, which are included in our data processing addendum, available on request.

Analytics and Error Monitoring

On this website we use PostHog and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our public marketing pages. They use first-party browser identifiers, including cookies, and receive pages viewed, referring pages, browser and device details, and approximate location derived from your IP address. PostHog also receives campaign (utm) parameters and which sign-up or navigation links you click. Google Analytics receives page addresses without query strings or fragments, and which sign-up links you click. Advertising click identifiers are removed from PostHog events, and session recording is turned off in PostHog. Google advertising personalization signals are disabled. We use Sentry to diagnose application errors; error reports include technical details and internal identifiers, and one-time invitation and authorization codes are removed before they are sent.

Data Retention

We retain account and synchronized data while the account is active and as needed for security, legal and operational requirements. An owner can delete a workspace in its settings; limited audit records may remain for security, legal and operational purposes. Members can revoke their AI connector authorization through the client or RunUp account settings.

Your Choices

  • Update account information in your settings.
  • Ask an account owner to update your membership or delete the workspace.
  • Revoke an AI connector authorization in the connected client or RunUp settings.
  • Request help with account information by contacting us.
  • Remove the analytics cookie by clearing this site's cookies, or block analytics with your browser's tracking protection.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. To use a right, email hello@gorunup.com. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. If your data was synchronized by a RunUp customer, we may refer your request to that customer.

Children

RunUp is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and Breaches

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and authorities as required by law.

California Residents

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we use sensitive personal information only to provide the service. California residents can request to know, correct or delete their personal information by emailing hello@gorunup.com, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify account owners by email or in RunUp.
