Connect an AI client

RunUp provides a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for clients that support remote MCP over HTTPS and OAuth. Use this address when your client asks for an MCP server URL: https://app.gorunup.com/mcp.

Connect

  1. In your MCP client, add a remote server and enter the RunUp MCP URL.
  2. Choose Connect and sign in to RunUp in the authorization window.
  3. Review the requested read access and select the RunUp account you want to use.
  4. Return to the client and ask a question about that account's synchronized Stripe subscription data.

You must be an active owner, admin or member of the selected account; viewer memberships cannot connect to MCP. The connector uses the account you authorize; it cannot select or access another account on your behalf.

Available reports

  • Discover metric names, definitions, units, intervals and supported groupings.
  • Query supported revenue, customer, churn, ARPA, LTV, retention and plan metrics.
  • Review plan groups, plans, MRR movements and retention cohorts.
  • Inspect a customer's revenue history using a RunUp pseudonym or public identifier.

The connector only reads analytics. It cannot refund payments, change subscriptions, edit Stripe records or change RunUp settings. Customer-level results are pseudonymized: customer names, email addresses and Stripe customer IDs are not exposed.

Data freshness and limits

RunUp reports on data synchronized from Stripe, so results may not include the latest Stripe activity. Results use the account's reporting currency where applicable. Ask the client to state the reporting period, unit and data freshness shown with a result; undefined or unavailable values should not be treated as zero.

Disconnect

Remove or disconnect the server in your AI client. You can also review and revoke connected access from RunUp account settings. Revoking access prevents future authorized requests; it does not remove information already returned to the AI client. Contact RunUp support if you need help.
